The Lounge situated on the Ist floor of The Light is available for hire (e.g. parties, meetings, corporate functions, or presentations). It includes a fully stocked bar, DJ booth, video projector (DVD, PAL, S-VIDEO Compatible) and an adjoining roof terrace. The lounge is available for hire throughout the day all of the week, as well as during the evenings Sunday through Thursday.
(Friday and Saturday evenings the Lounge operates as a cocktail bar with regular D.J.s so it is unfortunately unavailable. If particularly busy, entry may also be restricted)
The following is a list of charges and guidelines referring to hiring the lounge:
1 Capacity - 200 max
2 Hire charge - £500 (£650 if until 2.00am)
3 Deposit - £250 (non returnable if less than 24 hour notice of cancellation)
4 DJ - Cost depends on what type of DJ required.
If bringing own DJ a deposit of £250 is required at the beginning of the function to be held against any damage to equipment
5 Canapés - We offer 2 menus at either £10 or £15 per head
6 Drinks - Pay as you go or pre arrange a tab
7 Security - We request that all evening events are supervised price on application
1 Any damage to the bar and its fixtures and fittings will have to be paid for by whoever is hiring the bar.
2 Anybody found mistreating the bar or its staff will be asked to leave the premises.
3 The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit has been paid
4 All bills must be settled at the end of the function by cash, credit card or company cheque
